Please support the fund-raising concert “For Love of Life” organized by the Singles Apostolate of St James Renewal. Beneficiaries of the concert are the Neonatology Section of PGH and the family of Alyssa Llamas. The concert is on July 15 at the Insular Life Theater in Alabang.

The performers are: Alumni of Philippine Madrigal Singers and the special talents of the Singles Apostolate: Charlie Rancudo (1998 National Yamaha Electone Champion), Hazel Antolin (2004 Alabang Idol and Main Praise), and the Akafellas!

It was the beginning of the non-celebrity game on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal last night and first texter turned player Fely Miras had Lady Luck on her side. She became the show’s biggest winner so far taking home P232,000. Host Kris Aquino praised Fely for being smart and knowing when it was the time to say “Deal!” to the banker’s offer.
As the show’s foremost texter turned player, Fely, a former banker chose suitcase no.1. She immediately picked 6 suitcases after and she started with suitcase no. 9 which contained the P2,000,000. Her spirits not dampened, the next suitcases contained lower amounts which gave her the guts to say “No Deal!” to the banker’s offer which began at P13,000. With her husband, mother and relatives for support, Fely was able to pick mostly lower amount suitcases and were eventually left with 4.
Fely, with the help of her husband’s gut feel, had good timing and shouted “Deal!” for Kris revealed later on that the Banker was about to lower the amount on the next offer. She can now set up the small business she’s dreaming of with her P232,000. Fely can also push through with her plan to have a child
