August 17, 2005 - The first project of the MSAA for this school year got underway and the recipients were truly satisfied.
Last summer we were asked to come up with signs to help ease traffic flow around the campus. There would be 'One Way' signs, 'No Entry' signs, and 'No Blowing of Horn' signs. The board then approved the budget needed to get these signs done and last August 6, 2005. Eight signs with stand and 4 'No Smoking' signs were handed to Sister Teodora Antonio, F.I. and 2Lt. Adelfo de Leon PAF (Ret).
When they saw the signs from afar, Sir Del couldn't help but offer a salute. 'Saludo ako sa Alumni, ang galing ng gawa ninyo', was what he said. Sister Teody was all smiles and said: 'You could really count on the Alumni to do a good job.' Sister Pacita Legaspi, F.I., MSAA Adviser, arrived after a few minutes and was also ecstatic at what she saw and exclaimed: 'Our visitors from Taiwan and Japan will see these signs, nilagyan ba ninyo ng donated by the MSAA?' (Manresa recently hosted some delegates from the region in time for Mother Foundress day - 9 August). So if you happen to be around your alma mater and see these signs, you can proudly say that: 'We donated those signs.'
